About WBP

Established in 2000, Wisconsin BioProducts (WBP) is a Contract Manufacturing Organization that provides fully-customized fermentation and other liquid processing related services to a variety of industries. WBP produces a wide variety of bio-materials used in everyday consumer and industrial products. Among these include cosmetic ingredients, agricultural products such as bio-herbicides and bio-pesticides, as well as bio-fuel seed stocks. Our expansive knowledge includes, but is not limited to, aerobic and anaerobic fermentation of various yeast, bacterial, algae, and fungal strains. Our batching capabilities include batch, fed-batch, as well as draw-and-fill scenarios. Our downstream processing capabilities include collection and concentration of cells and/or supernatant by centrifugation and filtration, as well as sterilization. We offer sanitary packaging in a multitude of forms including drums, totes, and direct tanker filling.

Our Capacity

WBP has the space to accommodate your next project, no matter how large or small. We conduct various scales of manufacturing in order to facilitate your needs, from proof-of-concept all the way to full production. Our bench-scale ranges from 10 to 20 liters, with full-scale production ranging anywhere from 100 liters to approximately 32,000 liters.
