Our downstream process capabilities produce deliverable fermented product that will meet or exceed your company's demands. Whether performed via centrifugation, homogenization, precipitation, or micro-filtration, WBP strives for optimal recovery in every scenario in order to ensure your material is ready for the next step in the production process. 

WBP houses separation equipment that is sterilizable, and capable of concentrating cell masses into very high-solids form. We are capable of homogenization of cellular mass which is subjected to extremely high membrane pressures. Product can also be thoroughly homogenized using strategies which provide multiple passes through our homogenizers. Chemical precipitation of target polypeptides can be accomplished in any of the large variety of temperature controlled and agitated tanks. We are also equipped to carry out micro-and ultra-filtration steps at any scale of fermentation.
